Palaba Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026
For purposes of this Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) only, the Palaba website, application, services, uploads, instructions, projects, and Customer Deliverables are collectively the “Service.” This Policy forms part of the agreement between Parsonos Corporation (“Parsonos”) and the applicable customer or account holder and applies to each person who uses the Service under that agreement.
1. General rule
Use the Service only for lawful purposes, within the access and rights granted to you. You are responsible for the materials and instructions you submit and for the people whom you authorize to access a tenant or project.
Palaba processes Customer Content within private, customer-authorized workflows. It is not a public content-hosting, publication, discovery, indexing, or anonymous file-sharing service.
Parsonos may investigate credible reports, use proportionate technical or human review where necessary to operate or protect the Service, and take the measures described below.
2. Rights in submitted material
You must have all rights, licenses, permissions, consents, and lawful bases needed for Parsonos and its subprocessors to process your submissions as instructed. This includes, as applicable:
- copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, voice, performance, and contractual rights;
- author, publisher, producer, narrator, performer, and recording-owner permissions;
- permissions required by a collective-bargaining agreement, including any applicable reuse, residual, credit, or notice obligation; and
- valid parent or guardian permission and other legally required authority for material containing or featuring a minor.
Parsonos may request reasonable evidence of authority where a specific complaint, instruction, or project creates a credible rights concern. We may pause only the affected processing while the concern is reviewed where a narrower response is reasonably available.
3. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the Service to:
- break a law, court order, or binding regulatory requirement;
- infringe or misappropriate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, voice, confidentiality, trade-secret, or other rights;
- upload material obtained through unauthorized access or in breach of a legal or contractual duty;
- create, possess, process, distribute, solicit, or facilitate child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of a minor, trafficking-related material, or other content whose possession or processing is unlawful;
- create or distribute non-consensual intimate material or use a person’s identity or voice deceptively without required authorization;
- threaten, facilitate, or instruct serious physical harm, abuse, stalking, or unlawful harassment;
- distribute malware, interfere with the Service, probe or bypass security without prior written authorization, or gain access to another account, tenant, project, system, or data set;
- conceal a material security vulnerability instead of reporting it through an authorized channel;
- misrepresent identity, authority, business-use eligibility, billing status, country, or project permissions;
- scrape, resell, sublicense, or provide shared access to the Service except as expressly allowed by the applicable agreement;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract non-public source code, models, or system components except to the limited extent a law makes that restriction unenforceable; or
- overload, disrupt, or use the Service in a way that materially harms Parsonos, a provider, another customer, or the integrity or availability of the Service.
Lawful literary material is not prohibited merely because it contains adult, disturbing, controversial, political, medical, or fictional subject matter. The specific unlawful and harmful uses above remain prohibited.
4. Health information
Do not submit electronic protected health information regulated by HIPAA unless Parsonos has signed a Business Associate Agreement covering that processing. This restriction does not apply merely because lawful literary material discusses health.
5. Accounts and minors
Account holders and authorized users must be at least 18 years old. A minor may appear as a performer in Customer Content only where an adult customer has all required guardian permissions, performer agreements, privacy grounds, and other authority. Minors may not hold Palaba accounts or access the Service directly.
6. Security research
Do not test the security of Palaba without prior written authorization. Send a good-faith vulnerability report to security@parsonos.com with enough detail for us to investigate. Do not access, retain, alter, or disclose another person’s data, degrade the Service, demand payment through coercion, or publicly disclose an unresolved issue before Parsonos has had a reasonable opportunity to address it.
Any separate written authorization controls its stated scope.
7. Enforcement
When Parsonos reasonably believes this Policy has been violated, we may reject an upload, stop the affected job, restrict a feature or project, remove or preserve material where legally permitted or required, suspend access, or terminate the applicable account or agreement.
We may act without advance notice where reasonably necessary to prevent or contain a security threat, serious unlawful use, immediate harm, evidence destruction, or violation of a binding legal requirement. Any enterprise agreement’s suspension and termination terms control if they provide more specific protections.
Parsonos may report suspected unlawful material or conduct and preserve related information where required or permitted by law.
8. Reporting abuse or rights concerns
Report a suspected Policy violation to legal@parsonos.com. Include:
- your name and a reliable way to contact you, except where applicable law permits an anonymous notice;
- the project, material, or conduct at issue, with enough detail for us to locate it;
- the right or rule you believe is affected;
- the basis for your report and any supporting material; and
- a statement that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Do not send manuscripts, recordings, credentials, or sensitive evidence by ordinary email. We will provide a secure method when review of that material is necessary.
For a sufficiently specific report, Parsonos may request additional information, consult the affected customer, preserve relevant records, and restrict only the affected processing while it evaluates the matter. Parsonos may act without prior notice where required by law or court order or reasonably necessary to address immediate harm or preserve evidence.
A report does not by itself determine ownership, authorization, or infringement. Parsonos may require the affected parties to resolve a disputed claim by agreement or through a competent authority. Where appropriate and legally permitted, Parsonos will give an affected customer a reasonable opportunity to respond and will restore processing that was restricted through mistake or when the concern is otherwise resolved.
9. Changes and contact
Parsonos may update this Policy prospectively. Material changes will be notified as required by the applicable agreement and law.
Questions about this Policy and reports of rights concerns may be sent to legal@parsonos.com. Security issues should be sent to security@parsonos.com.
